Gen Z protests: Death toll rises to 19
At least 19 people have died so far during the ongoing Gen Z protests in Kathmandu.
The fatalities occurred while receiving treatment at various hospitals across the valley.
According to sources, the Trauma Center alone has confirmed eight deaths.
Civil Hospital reported three fatalities, while Kathmandu Medical College (KMC) recorded two.
Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital reported one death, Everest Hospital three, and B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences two.
The clashes between protesters and police have resulted in numerous injuries, though the exact number and condition of the wounded remain unclear. Authorities are yet to release a comprehensive report on the total casualties.
