Cabinet Approves Full Landing and Parking Fee Waivers for Pokhara and Gautam Buddha Airports
KATHMANDU — In a bid to jumpstart international flight operations at regional hubs, a cabinet meeting approved a 100 percent waiver on landing, parking, and navigation charges, alongside a 50 percent reduction on ground-handling fees for international flights at Pokhara International Airport and Gautam Buddha International Airport through mid-September 2028.
During the same session, the government formally ratified agreements nullifying fraudulent loan-shark documents and appointed new judicial leadership, naming High Court Judge Basudev Acharya as chairperson of the Special Court.
