Two murders in Kathmandu: arrested being made public
The police have arrested suspects accused of the murder of a woman at a hotel in Gaushala and the killing of a youth in a hotel room in Tokha.
On Saturday, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-9, Gaushala, witnessed the discovery of a dead woman at the Siraha Dhanusha Hotel and Lodge.
The deceased, identified as Pramila Damai, was found in a room accompanied by a man who fled the scene.
Similarly, on Saturday, another body, identified as Dipesh Khadka, was discovered in a hotel room in the vicinity of Kathmandu’s Tokha.
Concerns arose regarding his demise, prompting investigative efforts.
The District Police Office Kathmandu informed that accused persons in both incidents have been apprehended.
However, the identity of the suspect remains undisclosed.
The spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu, Deputy Superintendent of Police Kumud Dhungel, informed that a press conference will be held on Monday to provide further details regarding the suspects involved in both cases.
