Qatari Emir’s visit to Nepal: Signing of several Mou’s and an agreement between the two countries
Different memorandums of understanding have been signed and one agreement has been reached for cooperation between Nepal and Qatar. The Prime Minister’s Secretariat informed that the agreement and memorandum of understanding were signed after the meeting held today between His Highness the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the delegation led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is on a two-day state visit to Nepal.
On Wednesday, an agreement was reached between the two parties to work in six areas at the government level and two areas with the private sector. Nepal’s National News Committee and Qatar News Agency have signed an agreement to share news.
Similarly, cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation in the field of art and culture, cooperation between the Government of Nepal and the Government of the State of Qatar in the field of education, higher education and scientific research, cooperation in the field of youth and sports, the Office of the Attorney General of Nepal and the Public Office of the State of Qatar Cooperation between the prosecution, A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Institute of Foreign Affairs of Nepal and the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar on cooperation in the field of diplomatic training and education.
In addition, two private agreements have been signed between the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In which an agreement has been reached to establish the Nepal-Qatar Joint Commercial Council, which includes the private sectors of Nepal and Qatar. On Wednesday, it is mentioned that an agreement was reached between Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Chandra Prasad Dhakal and Qatar Chamber President Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani to establish a Nepal-Qatar Joint Commercial Council.
His Highness the Emir , who came to Kathmandu on a two-day visit to Nepal on Tuesday, has returned home today after his afternoon visit.
