Nepal Airlines Crowned “Best Carrier on Nepal Route” at ITCTA 2025
Nepal Airlines, the national flag carrier, has proudly received the esteemed “Best Airlines on Nepal Route” award at the 10th International Tourism Conclave & Travel Awards (ITCTA) 2025. This significant achievement underscores the airline’s pivotal role in bolstering air connectivity and promoting tourism between Nepal and India.
The prestigious award was presented on July 26 at a grand ceremony held at Hotel Le Méridien in New Delhi. The honor was jointly conferred by ICM Group Chairman and Managing Director Ajay Gupta and Nasir Aslam Wani, an advisor to the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
Nepal Airlines was specifically recognized for its outstanding service on the Kathmandu route, a vital link for travelers. This accolade highlights the airline’s unwavering commitment to providing safe, reliable, and passenger-friendly air travel, along with its substantial contributions to enhancing bilateral tourism.
Representing Nepal Airlines at the event were Kamal Gyawali, Country Manager for India; Bhanu Bhakta Katuwal, Airport Manager in New Delhi; Raman Niraula, Finance Chief in New Delhi; and Mukesh Sharma, Vice President of Birds Group, India.
The annual ITCTA Awards celebrate excellence across the tourism and aviation sectors. An expert jury, comprising senior government officials, tourism board representatives, leading tour operators, and aviation professionals from both India and abroad, rigorously selects the winners.
