House elections to be held within 6 months

New elections to the House of Representatives are scheduled to be held in the country within the next six months.

President Ram Chandra Poudel has appointed former Chief Justice Sushila Karki as Prime Minister with the aim of holding elections to the House of Representatives for a new mandate.

Karki was sworn in as Prime Minister by President Poudel at a ceremony held at Sheetal Niwas.
