Honda assembly plant established in Nepal
Honda, the leading two-wheeler brand in Nepal, has inaugurated its assembly plant in Bhairahawa on March 6, 2024. Mr. Minoru Kato, Vice President of Honda Motorcycle’s main business unit, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by domestic and foreign representatives of the company.
With an investment of 150 Crore NPR and covering an area of 220,000 square feet, the plant is capable of producing 100,000 motorcycles and scooters. Over 55 years, Honda has earned the trust of Nepalese consumers and established itself as the top-selling two-wheeler brand in the country. The new plant underscores Honda Nepal’s commitment to upholding its world-class quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Syakar Trading Company Pvt. Ltd., Honda’s authorized distributor in Nepal, has announced plans to enhance product availability, spare parts accessibility, and service through its subsidiary company Himal Moto Nepal Pvt. Ltd.
