Gazal Maestero “Pankaj Udhas ” passes away

“Pankaj Udhas, the renowned ghazal and playback singer, passed away at the age of 72 after battling a prolonged illness.

The veteran ghazal singer and Padma Shri awardee passed away today. The Udhas family conveyed the news to his admirers. In an official statement, the family disclosed that the singer had been grappling with a long-term illness.

Nayaab, the daughter of the veteran ghazal singer, shared a message on Instagram, stating, “With heavy hearts, we regret to inform you about the sad demise of Padma Shri Pankaj Udhas on February 26, 2024, due to a prolonged illness,” as per the official statement.
