Nepalese Youth employed in Hong Kong procured ambulance offering complimentary services
Youth from Urlabari, Morang, who have gone to Hong Kong for employment, have purchased an ambulance, citing issues with ambulance services in their village. The ambulance has been transferred after purchase. It provides free services to needy families in the village.
Ninety-four youths from Urlabari, who have gone to Hong Kong for employment, collected Rs. 2,500,000 in the name of Urlabari Municipality-9 for the purchase of an ambulance. After the collection, free ambulance service has been initiated for the distressed families of Ward No. 9.
The aforementioned ambulance operates under the Durgapuri Sub-Health Post of Urlabari Municipality-9. According to Ward Chair Nar Bahadur Moktan, a procedure has been established to provide free ambulance service to distressed families by issuing introduction letters and making ambulance service available at a 20% discount to others.
According to him, the municipality will manage the fuel while providing free ambulance service to distressed families. Yamssembu, who is in Hong Kong for ambulance purchase, has alone collected Rs. 530,000, and it is informed that the aforementioned amount has been collected actively in the Sanghehang-Tumbahamfe area.
