Nepal’s Export Increases by 81.80%

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has claimed that Nepal’s exports reached an all-time high this year. Through Facebook on Thursday, Prime Minister Oli stated that Nepal has succeeded in exporting goods and services worth 277 billion 30 million 200 thousand rupees in the current fiscal year.

He mentioned that before he became Prime Minister, i.e., in the previous year, Nepal’s total exports were only 152 billion 380 million 120 thousand rupees, stating that exports have increased by 81.80 percent compared to last year.

He wrote, “This year, exports have reached an all-time high. We have succeeded in exporting 277 billion 30 million 200 thousand rupees. Before our government came to power, exports in the previous year were 152 billion 380 million 120 thousand rupees. Exports have increased by 81.80 percent compared to last year.”
