Nine Nobel laureates coming to Lumbini

Nine Nobel Peace Prize winners from various countries including Kailash Satyarthi from India, are scheduled to attend the summit to be held in Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, Nepal.

With the gathering of the latest Nobel laureates and eminent writers from around the world in Lumbini, the radiance of Lumbini has already begun to shine brighter.

The Lumbini Province government has initiated the organization of the “Laureates and Leaders Summit” for the welfare, development, and peace.

It is confirmed that nine Nobel Peace Prize winners from various countries who have contributed significantly to literary writing and research will participate in the summit. Also, more than two hundred development partners from various countries are certain to participate in Lumbini.

The spokesperson and Home Minister of the provincial government, Santosh Kumar Pandey, mentioned that the summit is aimed at enhancing investment in Lumbini with the goal of controlling and minimizing violence against children, child labor, child marriage, and child trafficking.

Significant contributions have been made by individuals in the fields of literature, peace, physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, and economics, and they have been invited to attend the summit in Lumbini.

The summit is expected to  draw global attention to the development of Lumbini.

It is expected that the summit will highlight the importance of the Lumbini region worldwide, promote tourism development, and engage partners in the development of Lumbini, ultimately branding Lumbini within the global community.
