The “Prakriti: Installation Art Exhibition 2024” kicked off in Kathmandu

The “Prakriti: Installation Art Exhibition 2024” has kicked off in Kathmandu, featuring a month-long display of artistic endeavors.

Organized by the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in collaboration with Gallery Mcube, the exhibition seeks to underscore the importance of nature amid the ongoing conflicts between humanity and the environment.

Naradmani Hartamchhali, the Chancellor of NAFA, highlighted installation art as a medium that offers diverse perspectives through various mediums. He lauded the artists for their remarkable portrayal of the human-nature relationship using natural elements.

The exhibition showcases creations by artists such as Sagar Manandhar, Sushila Singh, Meena Kayastha, Binaya Rimal, and Sushant Shree Rajbhandari, among others.

Additionally, artworks by NAFA Vice Chancellor Lalkaji Lama, Academy Council Member Sauraganga Darshandhari, and Gallery Mcube’s Manish Lal Shrestha are featured as guest contributions, enriching the artistic landscape of the event.
